We were discussing St. Gregory the Great and how he adapted to changes in his life. Some he warranted himself but other things he opposed like being Pope- but in the end, obviously he followed God's Will. Thank God!
We gave Kid #1 his own Holy Bible for his First Holy Communion and in the first few pages it lists all the popes from St. Peter to our current Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI. It is quite awesome! We looked up St. Gregory the Great and began laughing b/c we found there to be a Pope from 461-68 and his name was St. Hilarius!!!!!!!!!!
Isn't that hilarious!!!!!!!
